Fellow Breitlingers,
I've been collecting watches for a few years now, and my last purchase was 2.5 years ago (Omega Seamaster GMT). I acquired the itch recently and fell in love with the Breitling Bentley Motors T. I've always wanted a Breitling, but promised myself I wouldn't get one of the basic models just to satisfy that desire - that I would wait until I could afford one of the bad SOBs.
Anyways, I just had to tell someone (who actually cares) so I figured I'd post and tell everyone on the forum! I got the Motors T, Steel (case and band), anthracite (grey) dial.
It won't arrive til Tuesday, so what do I do in the mean time!? Any suggestions from those out there accustomed to waiting for eternity!? I made the order on Tuesday and I'm dying to get it all ready! Thanks!

Hi, Brian and welcome aboard. Congratulations on the acquisition and wear it in good health! :-! While you're waiting, try contemplating one of two things... either your navel, or, wait for it..... The fact that pics are MANDATORY upon arrival! ;-) :-d
Cheers,
Ron

Just pick up a drug habit. Alternatively, you can browse the forums to get your B fix. (By the way, by buying your first B, you inadvertently did pick up a new drug habit) :-!

Phil,
I would have thanked you too if I knew you were looking at this thread - I didn't see you until your post though! So thank you too! DK was a pleasure to work with... I talked to him yesterday and he said, "We just got a bunch of Tag Heuers in, I'm sure yours is one of them."
I quickly replied, "I didn't order a Tag!"
We got it squared away - he said he's been pretty busy and gets them all confused! Definitely understandable - as long as they don't get the watches confused and send me a Tag! (not that there's anything wrong with Tags, but I all ready have one and would much rather have my Motors T).
Oh, it should be here by 11:00am EST... 2 hrs, 26 mins.

Well I got it!! I'm at work and tried taking a picture, but while the iPhone is the greatest demonstration of technology we've seen to date (with respect to computer phones), the camera isn't worth a damn. It won't focus on the watch, so it's blurry as heck. Will post some pics this evening once I get home.

I suggest you look for documents about the history of the brands (Breitling and Bentley). Drooling over pictures is also nice and maybe get a bit of Vitamin B :-d

Hi RJ,Good point. I saw some TV program about the history of bentley and it is very interesting for sure!
The racing drivers from the Bentleys were called the Bentley Boys. A few years ago I visited a jewelry and watch event that my AD had organized and he wanted to take this pic from me and a good friend of mine. He called us the Breitling Boys :-!

Congratulations! What a stunning piece! I don't know the Bentley line too well but looking at your pictures I see you have a 30 second chrono hand on it! I would love to see that one in action :-!
Enjoy your lovely watch and wear it in good health.
