I just got a "lot" of watches in the mail from an Ebay buy. In the lot is a ladies white gold GP electric watch with integrated mesh band. Really quite a nicely built little watch, but the mystery to me is the fact that it is an electric. Anyone know anything about GP's history with electronic watches?
TIA.....

RayLooks like you got an answer on the Purists GP forum.
As a point of detail, the movement refered to can legitimately be called 'electronic' because it uses transistor switching; there are no physical contacts used in the electrical circuit. Because of this, your watch is as 'electronic' as an Accutron tuning-fork watch.
