Looks great Ian. I think you mentioned a while back it would also be offered with the diver bracelet instead of the 5 link. Is this true or am I making it up? If so any pictures of it on the other bracelet?

its just an amazingly tough market, for all watch sellers- I imagine across the board its a terrible time to try to sell luxury priced watches- good thing is when it is back to normal there will be a great company of offerings available

G'day mcop10,

Your memory serves you well. It was initially the plan to offer the Nür-Spec on the oyster style bracelet (as per the Subzilla) and the option of the 5 link bracelet, however, i was not happy with the fit and design aspects of the end-link to the lugs. We tried twice to get it right, to no avail. Coupled with a turnaround time of 6 months each time we changed the design, it was no longer an option.
In the end, the 5 link bracelet looked a lot better aesthetically and works very well to keep the watch head balanced and wears beautifully on the wrist.:-!

Ian Kremke

The Nür-Spec Midnight Edition (black PVD finish) is due for delivery by the end of this month. Pricing and ordering instructions will be posted then.
The dimensions and specs will be identical the standard Nür-Spec with the exception that it is finished in black PVD.

Thanks! Very nice Ian, I'm looking forward to this one. :-)

It's always interesting to me where people wear their watches. I can see why there is objection to the crown digging in to the back of the hand if folks wear the watch so close to the hand. I keep mine behind that bone that sticks up towards the outside so it is further back.

Hi Ian!

I don't know if you have tested out the finish of the Nür-Spec Midnight Edition (black PVD finish), but I am wondering if the PVD will be more robust in terms of scratch resistance in comparison to the ss of the regular edition?

I guess I am concerned, because I have an Omega Seamaster with ss bracelt that got scratched with normal usage, but when I sent it in for service the service center "buffed" out all the scrathes, so the bracelt looked brand new. I was wondering if the same can be done for the PVD bracelt, as I have seen Kobold's for sale with the PVD bracelt that had scraches on them.

Thanks!

For the NÜR-SPEC with free shipping who will be the carrier and are any of your watches shipped outside Australia insured for loss or damage? From what I understand Fed Ex covers only to $500.00 USD even if one pays for a higher amount of loss coverage.

Thanks!

Hi lemond_fan,

All my watches are shipped via FedEx and are fully insured from my end.
Once purchased, you are guaranteed delivery. All deliveries require signature on delivery by the recipient.

Ian,

It's probably about three - four years away, but who is going to service the watches if there are no service centers or dealer network in the USA? Would we send them back to Australia or go to a good local watch repair person who can service the types of movement you use in your watches?

Thanks!

I think yuo nailed it there- as we discussed in PM- the movement is common and can be maintained by many qualified foks if need be-

Hi lemond_fan,

Each watch is covered by a two (2) year limited warranty and should anything go wrong within that time, repairs will be conducted by Fricker GmbH in Pforzheim Germany.

Servicing can also be conducted by Fricker at any time after the warranty expires. However, any reputable local watch maker should be able to repair or service the movement as they are non-modified ETA movements.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the forum.

The first batch of Nür-Specs are all offered with the bracelet only, however, future batches may be offered with the option of bracelet or leather strap.

I just need the benefit of time to see how we go with demand, then i will know what percentage i need to make with or without a bracelet.

So to answer you question, the first batch is only available with bracelet. :-)

Regards,

Ian
