Why not start a grass roots campaing to get Breitling to acknowledge the heroic acts of pilots? Can be for commercial pilots as well as those brave souls protecting the skies at mach 2 as well..

An excellent idea (and probably some really rare special editions ;-)) and the first nomination is Chesley, the Hero of the Hudson, and his crew!

Was thinking this morning (I do that sometimes!) and this would make an excellent couple of pages in the Chronolog each year wouldn't it?

Its a wonder that B hasnt come up with this already. It would be great publicity for them as well.

In case you haven't seen it here's a link to the coastguard cctv footage of the crash - it's scary, amazing and surreal. I didn't realise how fast the plane was being swept downstream, how quick the ferries got there (they also deserve medals) and if the sight of a plane, floating down a river, with all the passengers standing on the wings, isn't surreal enough, eight minutes in Concorde puts in an appearance in the background!!!!! :-d
