Thanks for agreeing to help out Ron. Your contributions to the cause have been above and beyond the call of duty!!!

For those who don't know, Lou has decided to retire to take care of the family. I deeply appreciate what he has done here. Lou is a true ambassador of the brand.

Lou, come back, help, come back, you can't leave me with him ;-)

No worries, mate. Ron was in Zumwalt's Navy. They wouldn't know a haircut from a veal cut. :-)

Lou, you will be missed but your family first is always the right choice. Please drop in often. Thank you for all you have done for the forum.
As for Ron, I could not think of a better person to fill Lou's shoes. This also insures that we keep Ron around for the next 20 years, that is the contract right?
Congratulations Ron and Lou.

Congratulations Ron! I guess when you amass as much knowledge as you have for this brand you should make good use of it!

Oh, BTW - the regulars on this forum have some cool avatars. I'm a huge Calvin & Hobbes fan, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail is my second most quoted movie (behind Caddyshack).
"How do you know so much about swallows?"
"Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know." :-)

Good morning all. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and acceptance. :thanks I look forward to continued participation here on what is arguably the very best forum on the entire world wide web. I have been asked to assume Lou's moderator duties on a trial basis which I think actually means I'm on probation. ;-) :-d Kidding. I'll give it a shot but trying to fill the shoes of our good friend Lou is an onerous task indeed. Please bear with me as I attempt to learn manners and humility, neither quality being my strong suit. :-)

Lou my good friend... Thank you for all you have done and all you have given to this non-exclusive gathering of gentlemen and ladies who share such an enjoyable common interest. Enjoy your young and beautiful family to the fullest and know that all of us here support and encourage you in all you do. :-! Please continue to participate here as much as possible else I will be forced to send Davey over to your house for a visit... You know what I'm talkin' about... ;-)

Thanks again all! :thanks
Best Regards,
Ron

Ron, Congratulations on the new post! Guess there'll be a little less time for golf now... ;-):-d

Lou, I'm sure you'll still be around for the occasional distraction, certainly don't seem the "cold turkey" type. Enjoy the "unfettered" world of being a non-mod again, and thanks for the devotion to WUS Breitling and all the work you've put in. :-!

Oh brother... There goes the neighbourhood!!! :-d

Lou, you better keep a close eye on him, or now that he's unchecked he'll be littering the forum with his shoddy photography skills!!

Ron, congratulations. It's nice to see that when one great moderator and Breitling-lover leaves, another picks up the torch. You're well-deserving and I know you'll help make this forum a great place to hang out.
