Size 16, 17 jewels. Would like to know anything about this pocket watch, especially the movement maker.

Thanks in advance.

My only contribution is that your PW was made after 1933, when Incabloc was invented. Possibly after 1937.
The movement pic suggests some writing to the left on, can you please write id down for us, or post a new, closer pic?
Any visible cartouches/marks?

It looks like a fairly modern Swiss movement (1950s maybe or late 1940s) faking it as a railroad watch. The code letters FOU don't ring a bell with me, sorry.

Look at the case, it seems to be modeled on the design of a Hamilton #15 stainless steel case. If so, it must be of 1950 or later date, as this is when that case was made available. Here is a #15 case for comparison.

Thank you guys for answering.
To Ray: I do not know if this is actually a fake yet. I must say that the watch is not in my possession thus i can't examined in more detail. Of course the possibilities are high that it is, did not pay allot for this, so no worries. As for the acronym FOU, I looked in the site thefreedictionary.com and it stated the these letters can stand for: For Official Use. We will see.

To Janne: As stated above. I do not have the watch as soon as I can. I'll post better pictures, along with the serial number.

Erik_H: Thanks for the picture, this will help me date the watch in case that it is not fake.

Just as a side question. Does anyone recognize the name: Jos. A. Taigman? Have googled it but came up o.

Thanks again.

It's definitely not a railroad watch as per the US railroad standards. Those watches had to be made in the USA. FOU is more likely a Swiss watch 3 letter code .
Certain Swiss watches were approved for use in Canada but they were pretty high end 21 or 23 jewel pieces.
It's not a fake in the sense it's claiming to be a Hamilton or Elgin.

Thank you Ray. I know that this pw is not rail road grated by any means. I was just curious in finding the i.d. for the movement. I will have to wait on it to arrive so as to see what I bought.
Regards.
