SPMC loose bezel.... Question

My SMPC (2225.80) has a somewhat loose bezel. It moves up and down the slightest bit... 1/3mm maybe? Anyway, I'll probably get it fixed at a local watch repair shop at some point. BUT, does this loose bezel have any effect on water resistance? I'm pretty sure no, but I want to verify.

Mine actually did that at first, right at the 12 o'clock pearl. I use the bezel for timing things often, and I recently noticed that after many twists around, it no longer had any play. Try twisting it a lot?

I just tried it. It still has some play. Thanks for the advice though.
The twists and clicks are nice and firm and there is no play in the twisting motion.
This doesn't effect water resistance right?
