The US got a tax handout, now it looks like its the aussies turn :-!
Everyone earning under $100,000 is apparently entitled to a sum of up to $950.
Who's going to buy a watch with Kevin & Swan's money?

The $950 cash bonus will likely just cover the increase in prices that Omega has decided on across most of its range. :-P

My partner and l are going to Koh Samui.She's happy to spend money on a holiday but I'd rather keep money in reserve for when the morons running this country send us broke as only the Labour Party can.

I read the link, , and cant believe it.
So does that mean that people who have worked hard and smart to get themselves into a decent position will actually get a handout from the government !
I might spend it on upgrading my 2254.50 to a Planet Ocean !

I cant talk politics but have a look at our taxation system, hard work is NOT rewarded. We are one of the worst taxed countries in the world. I work in government as an I.T job. I could run my own business but the tax would be so high and work so much harder, it doesn't seam worth it until you get into really high business money.
I do private work on the side (to fund the euro trip) for a doctors practice. Should bring in over $500 for little work. If it goes well, I might advertise to get some extra after work hours cash to fund my Omega purchases again. My ebay side income isnt possible anymore for reasons too long to explain...
