Since the DSSD's crystal and bezel are EXTREMELY reflective, I've been experimenting taking pics of it in a black laundry bag instead of the white and liked the way these came out (in particularly the first one since it actually almost looks like it's under the Deep Sea) ;-)
Sadly not mine but at least the pics are. :-!

Have you tried a polarizing lens? They're pretty effective at blocking reflections.

These were shot on a Canon S5 that I was testing out for my bro-in-law so I don't have any filters for it but I'll definitely look into that for my S3. Thx!
