Hi all

Many thanks for the additions. We are nearly back up to the original tally.

One addition that wasn't there before is Sir Alan Sugar, Chairman of the computer manufacturer AMSTRAD and Donald Trump's equivalent this side of the pond in the UK version of "The Apprentice" series. I saw him in the Boardroom on the first show of the new series wearing a Navitimer on a black leather strap.

My wife and I were waiting for the valet to bring us our car at the fancy, historic hotel in downtown Cincinnati when we spotting Nick Lachey getting off the elevator and milling around in the lobby. He's from Cinci, but was in town doing some sort of radio promotion thing. He was being followed around by what we were told was an MTV camera man. Nick was unfortunately not wearing a watch of any sort, or else I would've inquired about it, to help educate our fine forum ;-) . He was only there for a minute before disappearing off to some conference room, much to my wife's disappointment.

Some have already appeared in this thread, with non-emergency details and certainly, to my untrained eye, some watches appear to differ, but I'll add some notes. Sorry for any 'doubles' but I'll just run through them all.

I wondered the same about why the celebs go for Emergencies. Perhaps they think that with one activation the 'cavalry' will arrive, burst through the windows with thunderflashes, drop the baddies and whisk them to safety. Instead they just get an angry RAF crew in a big yellow sea king looking for a downed pilot!

Or, the conspiracy theorist part of me says, if Breitling can fit a transmitter into a watch that transmits on the international distress freq. perhaps they can also build one that transmits on a some frequency that is reserved for international celebs to announce that they have been kidnapped? Perhaps a really close up picture will show us the frequency written on the dial?! I'm sure some our more technically adept members will tell me the gross error of my ways but then they might still believe man has walked on the moon!;-)

Paul owns a 1960 Top time - that he bought new for £50 in 1960 and used throughout his rallying days. Paul was very succesful and success included winning the 1965 Monte Carll Rally co driving Timo Makinen in Mini Cooper S and being disqualified after winning again in 1966.

Saw J. Travolta in an "older" (1996) movie yesterday - "Michael". This was before he started advertising with Breitling. Could not tell if he was wearing a watch, but he did have a pair of wings growing out of his back:-d . Did not see him fly.

I've put Mr Raichlen down as a Chrono SO wearer, as the white dial and blue subs to the West, and Pro 1 bracelet would tend to suggest. The Chrono Colt I think would look smaller on his wrist and it's subdials are at the South of the dial. IMHO. Chrono Evo would have a Pilot bracelet.

Think I saw a pic of Danielle Lloyd in the London Lite newspaper getting in a car leaving a party and she had a Breitling on I think. I know she is only a Z list but she is mighty fine ;o)
