Hello,
My PO crystal is scratched, etc, etc and the AD that I purchased my PO from are able to service and repair Omega watches. Are they able to replace the crystal with a new one? I heard the turn-around times are insane for the NJ service center and the Bienne service center... and it seems extreme for a replacement crystal.
Thanks

More then likely your Anti-Reflective coating is scratched.
You are more likely to chip sapphire then to scratch it.
You can easily remove the AR coating, which will save you time and money to remove the scratches.
Otherwise, I don't know about the crystal, cost for the crystal alone is around $150 I think, and the watch has to be re-pressure tested after it is replaced and only your AD has the answer to your question of whether they can replace the crystal or not.... Just FYI.

PolyWatch will strip it clean, but if your like me you won't be happy about it. I love the external AR coating and the blue that it gives off. If the crystal is only $150.00 I'd call that a bargain all things considered.

I removed the AR coating on mine after it was scratched.. not an easy task, I used a dremel being extreeeemely careful and some brasso.
