I always hate to go to the Mall because I usually end up with some crap I don't need.
Took advantage of the whole trip, and made a visit to the local (and only) Omega Boutique. Long story short, end up tossing my credit card to the nice vendor, and came out of the shop with a nice, red, Omega bag...
Tough decision to make since money doesn't grow on trees, finally came out of the boutique with an SMP 300M (212.30.41.20.01.002)
So finally have my first Omega!!!!

Very nice SMP! congrats and welcome to the Omega forum. I wish I'd never sold my 2254 black SMP but it went to fund a Planet Ocean that I am still very pleased with. Again, congrats and welcome!

I was at the same Omega Boutique a couple of weeks ago. The staff is friendly but they have a very limited stock. My favorite piece there was the LE Panama SMP. (Looks like a Non AC SMP but has the Panama flag on the back and is limited to 100 watches)

Thanks for the wishes, guys! Been wearing it all afternoon now, and it is as accurate and precise as one would expect from a chronometer. Right now it seems to be running at only +1 sec a day, which in my opinion is unbelievable!
ANDRES, never saw that model you described. However I did get a chance to meet Cindy Crawford last year when she came to the boutique. What I did see today was pretty much the entire Olympics' collection. Super nice! Also last year in February, some of the QoS scenes were filmed here. Never got a chance to meet Daniel, however I did get a chance to have a couple of drinks with Pierce Brosnan when they were filming Taylor Of Panama.
Just got an invitation to join the boutique in April for a small cocktail session they are going to have when a new model De Ville Hour Vision will be on display.
I never imagined that the whole Omega "club" was super cool! Will give the watch some more time in order to have a review, but from what I can see and feel at this time, this has to be the best timepiece I have ever owned.

Long story short..She is the best. Way down to earth. Pretty much, you classic sweetheart.
I was/am pretty much no one, and she still was patient enough to have a conversation with me. I thought it was pretty cool. Way better than Pierce.
She is sooooo Cool!
