Hi Everyone,

I have been looking for a watch that my wife to be was going to get me as a wedding present. I gave her several options and she got me the 2254.50. Today was her wedding shower and she gave me a gift since she was getting so many. Boy was I excited. Let me tell you this thing is SOOO much better than in the store. The lume is amazing. I LOVE IT. BTW she got it from the Forum AD GREAT!!!

One question though, as you might be able to see in my picture the crown doesnt go all the way in, Is this normal???

Hi

Congratulations on your watch.. i have one myself:-). The crown is not fully screwed down,there should be no gap.

Try pushing the crown in gently whilst turning clockwise, this should seat the crown.

Just going from both my Omegas, 2254 and 212, I'd say the crown should screw all the way in. Look at the manual. The crown has 4 positions: Normal position, and Positions 1, 2 and 3. It seems your crown is in position 1, which is used for winding the watch. Try and push it in further and screw it hard against the case untill it is firmly (not too firmly closed, just finger pressure) against the case

Anyway, look at the manual, page 17 as well as the page inside the cover where the illustrations of the crown positions are.

I called the Forum AD last week and I was told that they run out of the 2254 instead they offered the 2255,,when did your wife buy yours?

I called the Forum AD last week and I was told that they run out of the 2254 instead they offered the 2255,,when did your wife buy yours?

She said she bought it in November of last year.

Your wife is fantastic to search down and get that watch for you. I am sure your eyes go back and forth between her and that beautiful dial.
