I recently had to sell my SOH 46. I loved the classic design of SOH46 and bought it. 38mm had a sub dial so i went for 46mm.

I wore my 46mm SOH for about month and a half and decided to sell it because it was too big for my wrist IMO.

well i have Omega SMPs 41mm and couple of Seiko divers 42mm. I think the highest i can go is 42mm according to my skiny wrists. What do you guys think will be a best breitling for me..

If you like the "chunky" look you could try and find the 42mm version of the Steelfish. It was only made for one year I believe (forget which).

At just over 43mm the B-1 fits my 6.5" wrist very well. It is the biggest I can go though.

I also have a 6.75" wrist and the Chronomat IMHO fits perfectly.

I suggest if you can, go to an AD and try on a few.

Hi watchaddict!

Your thoughts on the SOH 46 are of interest to me. I have a 6.5" wrist and recently tried on the SOH 46. I thought it was marvelous on me! Though it is a big watch, it worked well because the lugs curved downwards enough for me to think that it was "made for me":-d.

Is your wrist unusually round?

At roughly the 43.5mm my Emergency is the smallest watch I own and only looks bigger due to the utc on it, however my wrist is a little under 8.5 inchs and that probably dont help..

Have you tried the new seawolf or skyland

how do you guys measure your wrist size?

let me know if i'm doing it wrong. i took off my watch, laid it flat, and measured the length of the band, and it came out to 5.5". so is my wrist, double that at 11"?

thanks.

No, in a slightly rude way.......all the way around matey.

I still find the term "wrist shot" rather disgusting.

I really like the classic look of SOH46 and subdial in the 38mm didn't sing to me. When i went to try SOH46 at local AD i fell in love and bought it in an instant..in fact my intial reaction was the same that it fit great because lugs are curved.

After wearing it daily for over a month i realized it was too big IMO as balance of the watch was just not right for my wrist and i would constantly feel it's presence on my wirst..infact few of my friends also commented that it was big for my wrist

I think 42mm to 43mm idealy is the best for that size wrist but you could handle a 45mm too I think. Here is my Skyland on my 6.75 wrist. It is probably a little big but overall it fits great.

SuperOcean Chronograph would be a great option. I just hate that it has 20mm lug size so the bracelet seems to be a little small compared to the weight of the case.

Good luck,

Dude! I think that SOH looks MARVELOUS on you. But just to demonstrate my bias, I love my PO 45.5mm (on my 6.5" wrist), though the lugs don't fit as well as the SOH.

I like that Skyland on you too, including size-wise. I guess fit for some means fitting your "eye" as well, meaning that aesthetics play a big role. A big watch fits my eye just fine, so long as it fits comfortably.

I'm absolutely happy with the Chrono Cockpit (39mm x 14.8 mm) steel on bracelet blue dial and the fit is perfect in size and weight for my 6.75" wrist.

During week-ends and holidays I wear my Chrono Superocean (42mm x cca. 17.2 mm) on bracelet, also blue dial, but that's my upper limit reg. wrist size.

Hope this helps: Robertus
