I got this Colt Automatic II a couple of weeks ago, it's an awsome watch, tough as nails yet elegant. Does it qualify as a pilot's watch though? I'm not sure what makes a pilot's watch, but I wanted to share some pics with you.

To me that Applegate/Fairbain is either a letter opener or a box cutter and definetly not a weapon!

A toothpick can be a weapon in the right hands.

It can't be a weapon or the image wouldn't be allowed.

I didn't know that, ok let's consider it a letter opener then. :-!

Due to the data failure a few weeks ago the unamended, original rules are still up, but Pil-Mil (for obvious reasons - no point in banning letter-openers when you can show a fully armed warplane ;-) ) does not ban weapons pictures. Unlike most other WUS fora, I am eager to add.

Having said that, edged weapons, and especially knives, are "tools" to many Americans, and "weapons" to many Europeans, so even on the other WUS fora I personally am inclined to view edged weapons as ... letter-openers. ;-)

It has been pointed out that extending the weapons ban to edged weapons (as opposed to firearms, e.g.) would be the end of my own avatar! :-X
