I took some comparison pictures of these two fine divers. Sorry for the quality of the photos:-s. These pictures contrast the two well and reveal the subtle differences. The Certina DS-3 1000 keeps +4secs/24hrs time and the Subzilla runs at +8 to +10 secs/24hrs. I feel the Subzilla accuracy will improve over the next couple of weeks the more I wear it. These are two great dive watches!!|>

I own both and they are both nice watches. The SZ wears a little larger though and has better lume. Fantastic bezel on the Certina. As far as movement accuracy, the only expectations one can realistically have is that it runs as accurate as the movement specs. I would say +8-10s is pretty good out of the box, and well within specs.

Great pics mate. That Certina sure is a beauty and was one of the several classics that i drew inspiration from in the design process of the Subzilla.:-!
