WTB, WTT, or FS in this forum? I've just noticed that in the main sales forum it is mostly contemporary watches, and doesn't draw the same crowd as the vintage forum.

In a word: no.
There are plenty of vintages on the FS, WTT and WTB fora. I've bought several there. This forum is strictly for discussion.

There has been discussion over time about separate vintage sales forums... but the sales forums are a pain in the patootie to moderate and the total salary for the entire moderating staff for ALL the forums wouldn't buy a new battery for a quartz watch... or an old battery for that matter! So adding more forums is not taken lightly.
I would suggest using something like VINTAGE in the title... that gives folks something to search on. Those are active forums and you often find what you want on the fourth or fifth page... so searching is critical.
