This IWC area is still new so the number of people visiting it is growing but probably still being discovered. My knowledge of IWC is limited to those i own and this might be true for others.

Yup, the forum is still pretty new and IWC enthusiasts and owners are discovering it everyday. The visitors and forum traffic are still growing and hopefully, eventually we'll have a big community that can provide more information and participation.

Probably because 3 out of your 4 threads were talking about the same thing.

Also, most people only reply if they can answer your question or have something of value to add. If they don't, they'll probably move on. Why plug up a thread with useless posts?

If my posts are useless then you should look at others posts. I tryed to help someone about a post they made.

Take no offense, I don't think he meant that your post is useless. I think he meant that if people would only reply just to reply on a thread without helping much, then it is pointless and useless. Like if no one knows the answer to the question, there is no point in posting unless it answers the question.

That's right, rachelbe. I wasn't directing that comment at you.

My point is that in some forums, threads go off topic quickly and fill up with useless posts (or spam). In some cases, you'll see people posting just for the sake of seeing their user name beside the thread. That does nothing to help the original poster, especially if he or she is looking for help or an answer to a problem.

People here seem to be respectful of keeping things on topic, to a point. So, if you've got a question, people aren't going to ruin your thread by posting arbitrary stuff. Unfortunately, if you're getting no response, it's probably because no one has an answer for you.

I agree. :-)

I take your point. I was trying to help people as I posted a reply regarding deployment clasp, but I can't understand why there were no reply to my other questions regarding replica IWCs as I feel this is an important topic where there are many good fake IWCs on the market and we should bring this to the attention of other genuine IWC watch owners or potential owners. Finally I asked a question has anyone owned a chronograph classic watch in rose gold and I wondered if the movement was a house movement or a eta movement.

...I wouldn't get too worked up about it.
