Hi.
I've found out this applet, giving to me perfect explanation of the AR coating :
(one of the most astounding Breitling achievements |>)

You can handle cursors on left ; by varying coating thickness and indexes of refraction, you can annihilate glare :
the upper wave (in blue) summed to the under wave (in red) must produce a flatten reflection wave (in black)...

Hello Brice!
Thanks for the link; I didn't know that a good AR coating was that difficult to achieve. In many cases the black line cannot be fully zeroed out.
And this is just for flat crystals!

Yes indeed, AR coating seems to be quite a tough task ! :think:
