Thanks for the review! I confess I did not watch all 10 minutes. The Nighthawk is on my list and it was helpful to see it on your wrist, mine is also 6.5". Great looking watch.

Thanks! I am still very new at the video thing so I am working on shortening the total video time while improving picture quality to full HD.

Like I said in the review, this watch is absolutely gorgeous. It is simple, yet so well made and fits very nicely on my small wrist. IMHO, this is one of Citizen better if not best offerings in the US market.

how is the weight on the watch... I'm use to wearing my seikos and they can be heavy which i like. I tried on the NIghthawk, but i felt a little light?? maybe it was just me and i am just used to the weight of the Seiko Monster. I'm going to get this watch, there is no doubt about it. I would like to get the Ti version, but i'll settle for the 52e or 59e either way.

It is not a heavy watch, yet it is very solid and very well made. To me the standard stainless steel version (BJ7000-52E) is the best one to get. I would not spend the extra on the Ti or PVC version unless you strongly prefer them.

Happy hunting!

Awesome video. I too have this watch, and it indeed is a beautiful one, I do get compliments on it more than any other watch I have.

It is a light watch, compared to my other watches, but it somehow does not feel cheap at all whatsoever. It is super solid, like Minidriver says. That's a no-bs statement. I've had it for some 3 years now, and it is by far my most used watch. I would love to have one of those ultimate skyhawks to go with it, because it looks like it.

Thank you!:-!:-!

I am still very thrilled with this watch. The day Citizen stops making them it will be an instant classicb-)

One of Citizens's best ever watches. I had one from Singapore about three years ago. It arrived in a very nice aluminium case with black velvet lining. In that box, it looked very expensive indeed. Pity is, you no longer get one of these boxes with the watches. I flipped mine, but intend to buy another at some point.

The strange thing is, Citizen UK dropped this model from their catalogue some time ago!:rodekaart

Thanks for the review.

I do not understand why Citizen UK dropped this model from their market offerings. The Nighthawk/Promaster Sky are extremely popular watches:think:

I guess you can always order one from the States. I would, since "Nighthawk" is used only in the American version of this watch. I also like the markers better too.

The one I had previously was the Asian model with the engraved case back and without the Nighthawk name on the dial. I would prefer another one of those personally.

Nice. I think in Germany you can get the Radio Controlled version.

No matter which market you go to, you are still getting a beautiful watch.

Has anyone in the US tried obtaining the Asian/Euro caseback for a swap? If it's not ridiculously expensive, and is a direct replacement, I'd love to make the switch!

What exactly are the main things the Nighthawk lacks when compared to the Skyhawk? I'm debating the two. Am I correct that the Nighthawk does not have....

Atomic time
World Time in 43 Cities/29 time zones
2 alarms
Chronograph/stop watch function

Thanks

Correct. The Nighthawk is a basic "tool" watch. If you want all of the above, then go with the Skyhawk AT.
