Hi All,

Always wanted a Emergency. I just bought one.

It's the e56321, bought from ad in 2005
Yellow Dial, with UTC and complete with box and papers.
It's used but in good condition.

I paid 2600 euro's.

How did I do?? Is it too much?

Thanks! Cheers

Was it the one on the bay with the picture of it with global knives and a wine cork in the foreground?

I too hope that it's a genuine sale, because it's a great watch.

Please keep us informed as to what happens.

Nick.

Update!

I asked the seller about 6 times for photo's of both watch and papers.
He answer thru ebay with just the question : When will you transfer the money'.

He pretends as if he doesnt get all my emails.

Then I sended him an email thru ebay and told him i will contact Ebay to help sort things out.
Then he quickly replied and told me that he missed all my questions but still didnt asnwered if the pictures from ebay are his own.
He probably reads this also ( since the pics are from this board ) So I.m very curious of what photos he will email me.

O yes He said he didnt had my emailadress so he couldnt send me the photo's LOL.

He just keep saying he sold many watches in the past and tells me to check his feedback.

Keep you guys posted.

And Seller if you read, pls be upfront and honoust, I really love the watch!

Hi Vineapple, thanks for the update.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but I would now run a mile from this one.

I'm glad you have not paid for the watch after winning the auction because to me, something is not right.

If I was trying to sell a yellow dial Emergency with UTC I would be posting loads of pictures of the ACTUAL watch I was selling, not ripping off someone elses pictures.

Even if the seller "borrowed" someone elses pictures, they should state it in their description.

I do still hope it all works out well for you, - but take great care before you part with any money.

There will always be another.

p.s If you are the seller and you happen to read this, and your auction is genuine, please accept my apologies,- but you could have made it a lot easier for yourself by using your own pictures.

Nick

Just dont pay him. Sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for you. If he has the nerve to complain to ebay, he'll have to deal with the repercussions.

Of course, you can always report to ebay if you want him to be dealt with by them.

I agree with everyone else here that suggested you Run!!!

If this is a genuine deal then he would have responded with something other than 'where is the money':rodekaart

I would tell ebay that you found out he used someone else's pics, so you called his bluff and he hasnt come thru with any 'real' pics:-|

Good luck finding your yellow E:-!

This is exactly what I was thinking. If he were legit, there are so many other things he'd say at this point....

I would report it, if he can't produce the watch E-Bay will put his acct on notice.

Hell, if he can produce a good watch you'er in. But I wouldn't hold my breath

Vineapple,

As we discussed via PM and the guys are also saying.

"Buy the seller not the watch" and in this case.........

Very pleased the Duxford Wing could be of help.

Update!

He sended me some small pictures. But what can I believe, even if it was legite I still don't transfer my hard earned cash. To much of a risk.

He says he dont understand all the fuz. He told me that the pictures from ebay are pictures of a watch that used to be his in the past.

Now he even gave me a unpaid strike, the idiot.

I contacted ebay and wait for his reply.( edit: they are checking him and this forum to see if pics are indeed not his )
Keep you guys posted!

I would rather have an unpaid strike than be out a lot of money. Priorities.

I think Davey might have something to say about that.

Did the pictures he sent you show the Emergency AND the UTC?

Nick.

Hiya

I'd alerted ebay to the seller using some of my pics but with no reply.

As for the strike.....forget it. If you want ebay to talk to me directly, or see the original copies just send them the link to this thread.

Better safe than sorry in this instance with a lot of money at stake.
