Hi, I originally posted these pics in the Image Gallery forum, but since this a F-L forum, I thought I'd post them here too. I am not really into photography, but after seeing so many amazing pictures on WUS, I decided to give it a go with my F-L Sea King. I call it Black & White as I received a new black band with white stitch for it yesterday.

Beautiful...both the watch and the photography. I especially liked the first shot. Really evokes the feeling of a bygone era. I’d say you should spend more time with your camera. For someone who’s not really into photography, it looks like you have a natural gift.

Hi crazyfingers,
I hope you can give some technical info of your F-L's. Alright? This will mean a lot to other F-L's members.
Thanks.

Hey Caseiko, from what I know, this has the Calibre 253 movement. I am in no way an expert on movements, but this (http://forums.watchuseek.com/showpost.php?p=2025284&postcount=6) is very interesting to read :-)

You got me there, me too not an expert:-d. Did you try any info regarding movement from Dr Ranfft?? Most senior forumers suggest to go there for timepiece education:-).

Well this movement does have a power reserve of around 48hrs as mentioned on the site :-). I really ought to learn more about different movements. I try to educate myself from time to time. I plan on one day doing one of the TZ courses in order to learn more.

I wish to have time to do that same as you. Well, basically which I understand there is 5 or 6 category of movement. Manual movt, auto movt, bumper movt., quartz/battery(which called module) and combo- auto+quartz=kinetics. Or maybe more eg. spring drive by seiko. Lots of things you gonna to learn my friend;-). Regarding movement caliber:think:.. thousands of them:-). Wish you luck with the course. Later...
