To celebrate the new Laco forum here are a couple of Laco photos.
I am still using 35mm film, and the photos have too much contrast
and are a bit washed out.
The first is the 42mm Laco black PVD with ETA 2824-2 and type "B" dial
on a black nylon/leather strap. I like the look with a flat black strap.
When I wore it for a week the automatic ran a few seconds per day fast.
Next is the auto next to a Laco quartz also type "B" dial in the same size
case. I think the blacker appearance of the auto dial is a result of the
anti-reflective coating on its crystal. Of course, the quartz time is more
accurate than the automatic.
Next notice the difference in lug height between the auto and the quartz,
which has the traditional straight lugs. Having the lugs curve down
allows the auto to keep a stable position on my smaller than average
wrist. To me it is more comfortable than the straight lug case.
Thanks for looking,
