Hi all,
Have any of you guys heard of Erbe? The ad says "German made" but the dial says "Swiss made". Anyway, I saw them at timedesign.de and borrowed the pics from that dealer too.
The first watch is an interesting twist to the Sub-clones out there...it has a nice big crown and looks like a substantial classic diver, but also has the 2893 movement with 24 hour second timezone.

The second watch is a very attractive, true 24 hour watch. It really has got my attention! I know there are some of us who like 12 on top :-) :-!

I saw this one too, and had the same questions that you did. It seems to be almost identical to a Pedro Izquierdo watch that Andre exhibits on his exceptional site. Here's the link:

In any case, as a "12 on top" guy, it sure has a lot of appeal! That's one nice lookng dial! For the price, though (If I'm converting Euros to dollars correctly), it seems you could spend just a little more and get something that offers a good bit more. (at least an automatic)

The Erbe watches I got to know in the past have been made by Bethge. Bethge is now present on the www as www.bethge-watch.de.

This customized watch was made by Bethge:

since a new, true 24-hour watch, in this price range, in a reasonable size
(42 mm), appeared ! I'd like to see it in real.

Many thanks for this lead,

Francis
