Hi all. Despite some initial concerns on size and weight, as intelligently expressed by some helpful posters here, I am close to pulling the trigger on a replica 55 mm. I neglected that I have a 52 mm/17 mm G-shock, and it doesn't look big at all, so a much more attractive, sleeker looking Flieger should be fine - I hope.
Since it won't be an everyday watch, I do have a winder I would stick it on during the week - its a one-piece Orbita. First, do you think it would fit the watch winder given the thickness of the pilot band, which is 2 thick layers of leather? (The Orbita has a cushion around which the watch gets wrapped around, and then gets inserted into the turning cup).

Second, would it be even healthy for the watch to be on a winder five days a week, or am I better running the Laco down on its own?
