I was hoping for a little help. I have my trusty Bergeon tool and can even depress the springbar on my Railmaster. Once depressed, which way or how do you pull the endlink to remove bracelet? At this point I have some resistance and am afraid to pull one way or the other. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

i don't have a railmaster but generally to remove a bracelet you use the springbar tool to dislodge the ends of the springbar from the lugs on the watch. this is best done by holding the watch in one hand and applying light pressure to the endfitting from the front (thumb on caseback, index finger on endlink and other fingers over crystal) so it'll detach backwards. the springbar will pop out first one end, using the tool, and then the other, again using the tool. the endfitting can then be gently eased out backwards. the advantage of the rearward removal is that any marks that may be occasioned as the springbar departs the lugs will be to the underside. ditto refitting, when the ends of the springbar need easing back into the lugs and the endfitting pushed forward so the springbar re-engages with the blind holes in either side of the lugs.

you need to push the endlinks away from the face (ie downwards if its face up), but you have to do it one side at a time

if it hasn't been removed before, it might be a little stiff from sweat and other glorious gunk

Try this link if their advice wasn't explanatory enough...

Maybe the visual will be of assistance.
