Hi Guys,
Can you please help me see if the indentation that I circled on the following pictures is normal from a brand new Link?
http://www.geocities.com/tasv02/IS300/dent2.jpg
The AD that I took the watch to said it's a normal for the watch (after they tried to buffed my watch for the scrathes that they did to it while trying to take a chain off).
I don't recall it being there before and I don't see any of their link watch showing that "characteristic" but just in case...

If you mean the slight dimple inside the "Heuer" half of the logo, my Link Auto Chrono (1 month old) does NOT have it. But it doesn't look like damage to me either - more like a manufacturing defect.
The brushed stainless is easy to get tiny hairline scratches and my AD did the same to mine when removing links. Very slight, but they cleaned them out easily. You'll get plenty such scratches through normal use.
Best Regards,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Thank you for your response.
To be honest I don't remember the clasp being that way when I first took it to the AD.
My guess is they are using some kind of rotary tool (dremell, etc.) when buffing it and put too much pressure on the portion.
There are a few places on the link that has indentation on them too.
I agree 100% to what you said about scrathes but the problem is I have never wear the watch before. When I first took it it was brand new in flawless condition
Thank you again for your response

I checked my wife's Link, it does not have the dimple either.

Hi MWR,
Thank you. That confirmed it then. 4 link watches that I saw at the shop, your wife's watch and Brian's watch.
Oh well, back to debating with the AD.
They are really persistance in blaming their mistake to everything or everybody else.
The bad thing is they are one of the only two AD in Portland-Vancouver area.
They said that they are going to send my watch to their Seattle store to be refinished. Do you guys think I should let them handle the watch again or should I after other options? Like sending the watch to Tag Heuer service center and have them pay the bill or asking them to replace my watch with a new one (it is a new watch when I brought it in).

I would try to get them to switch bands off of another watch, or order you a new replacement band.

Hi MWR,
I was thinking about that but they also left few scrathes and cut on the bezel.
The scrathes might be "sandable" by them but the cut mark will be really tough except if they can fill it with something.
Hate to be an a$%hole but I think I have no other choice but to do it.
:-( Learned my lesson..being authorized by Tag Heuer doesn't mean that the store will handle your watch with respect and professionality.
Thank you for your help everyone.
