Well if we are already doing Saturday;-)
I'd love to wear my Raketa, but it hasn't arrived yet:-(
I'd love to wear the Vostock Radio Op, but no strap yet:-(
So, I guess I'll just HAVE to wear my Slava Medical Watch again!:-!
Man, have I got the Russian Fever or what!?!O|

Great, we are back!!!

I had my plain white Raketa on yesterday, on a brown pigskin aviator strap, today I have my Gagarin on :-!

Sorry for no pics yet, I have to get the camera off my wife...I am in the doghouse for too many watches again!

Cheers,
Griff

No rusian watch this friday...Sorry!

My new Poljot is being repaired as I mentioned before so I am waiting...

I just got a new watch, a verry nice Seiko automatic. It has a verry nice beige dial, a beautiful stainles wristband. I like it a lot. So I am wearing my new one on friday.

Saturday I could not dicide so firt my Vostok and in the evening the Seiko.

Today My Rivado Poljot is on my wrist.

Ernst-Jan ;-)

Well the Raketa arrived yesterday in the post!:-!

Very solid packaging with each seam tamped with tamper-proof (or tamper-evident tape) and it took precisely the number of days promised.

The watch is exactly what I expected but it came with a leather "croc" strap that is nicer than I expected but sadly is all too short for me:-(

Yes, it is but hey I'm selling it on eBay (have had to do that with each of the Russian watches I've purchased) and I put the money toward a replacement of my choice. McSteve was kind enough to send me photos of the bracelet on his Vostok Diver next to a ruler - now I know to order the strap (its usually cheaper) and not even try the Vostok bracelet (too short again). I've ordered two straps that should be long enough - one calf and the other a diver rubber/plastic one. We'll see if they work on the Raketa (which kept very good time for the first 12 hours!).;-)
