View Full Version : Need help ID-ing this pocket watch

I inherited this one from my father who died in 1977. The case is stamped 14 K. Inside the back lid there is a stamp like a leaf and a number 531235. The watch was only used for formal occasions, so it has very little wear. If anybody can help me identify this I would be grateful.

It's Swiss, modern 17 jewel design. I'd guess it's from the 1940s but it could be as early as the 1930s. Thanks for posting.

Looks like a generic 17J Swiss movement with no particular brand, probably made by AS or FHF. If there is any number below the balance wheel it could be helpful to find out more details;

Thanks very much for the information. Unfortunately I cannot find any number or other markings on the movement..
