Hello -Im new to forums but have been an avid wristwatch collector for years. Im now in to mid range stainless. I recently acquired a stainless Bulova aero jet w/out date or auto functions in perfect condition, but w/out the original crown. I think it has great style. I have two questions, if any one wants to answer them, that would be great. When I wind the watch which is a little difficult to do, because the crown is too small, and it seems tight(but its hard to tell w/ the crown being so small) it will roll back on its on. Overwound?. It keeps great time and Ive let it run out a couple of times to ease up on the movement.2nd:whats the general opinion on the quality of the Aeojet movement, or the watch in general? One other thing,I have my eye on a Bulova Jet Clipper thats almost identical. Is it a better watch? A rarer watch. I know, I know, that was 3 questions. Any help particularly on the winding would be really helpful. Thanks DR

I'll copy this to Watchmaking for further help on the winding issue.
Bulova is generally a pretty good watch brand, but without pics of the case dial and Movement we are helpless to ID or give impressions on the quality of a particular model.

Hey there- I was answered a week ago by John F, I had Questions about the Bulova Aerojets quality. Part of his answer was that w/o pictures of the movement there wasnt much to say. I dont have the tool to take off the back so.. Today I discovered on ebay an Aerojet with its movement pictured (very large picture when using the sizing function and was wondering what any one could tell me ,after taking a look at it. #10407647214. I tried to move the picture but ebay put a halt to that.Im not familiar with forums not sure how this will show up as new.or as a reply?
Thanks prt and pit
