I've had a couple of people look at my Skyland and try to touch the hands because they could not see the glass due to the anti-reflection coating.

Strangely this has never happened with other models, even though they also have the anti-reflection. It must be something to do with the blacksteel case emphasizing the clarity. Even now, I look at the dial and I have to convince myself that there is glass there.

I generally do not care for Breitlings, (no offense) but this thing is a real beauty. Simple, low-key yet elegant. I can't believe it is not butter... :-!

That's the thing about the Blacksteel, it is so stealthy, merges in to the background, no bling.....but to those who know it, it's a watch to enjoy for what it is......the Breitling Blacksteel b-)

Ha, I went to local AD to look at one, and they did not have it in the display case. I asked and the sales guy did not know what it is, till another one overheard me and said yeah, we have one on layaway in the back, you can look at it. One word, WOW, this thing is just beautiful in person. I put it side by side my U2S, and this thing just dwarfed it. I have not been this excited with a purchased good since I popped the hood on my truck and looked at the 5.9l inline Cummins diesel :-! Now, the saving begins. :-x

Thanks! It does look like there is no crystal. Deep dish dial too. I love it and might actually keep this one more than 6 months. :-d
