Steinhart "WUS Special Edition" Project - Initial Survey of Interest

The sole purpose of this thread is to determine the amount of interest in having a Steinhart Special Edition produced for WUS forum members.

We realize there are many factors that will determine interest. Price, design and specifications are among the most obvious criteria. However, for now we're only interested in determining what the absolute potential quantity would be.

This is not a commitment to purchase. You may drop out at any time until it is announced that a commitment must be made.

Please, only reply to this thread with "I'm interested" if you would like to be a part of this project. To avoid arguments later, also indicate if you have preference for a Special Edition number (assume there will be a low number of units produced). Numbers 1, 7, 8 and 53 are taken. Please check the subsequent posts to see if the number you would like is already gone before you post your choice.

DO NOT post photos, comments, ideas or suggestions. DO NOT reply to the other posts made here. We would like this to be kept as clean as possible to make tallying the results easier.

UPDATE: 4-OCT-09 17:30 EST (GMT -4:00) This thread will run until 11-Oct-09 at which point we will move on to the design phase if the numbers substantiate it. If the production run ends up being lower than some of the numbers being requested, the choice of the remaining numbers will be given (in order of posts made here) to those that had higher numbers. i am interested. But I would really appreciate if I could have number 2 on this watch. There's an explanation behind it. ;-)

my name is David and I am also in the forum Relojes Especiales as one of the two Moderators for the Legendario Projects Forum where we have already designed two watches (both of them with the final making of Mr. Steinhart).

I just saw you are starting something similar and I believe I could be of some help for all the experience we have. I might also be able helping you guys with the designing (although it is just a hobby, I ain't a pro on this).

Of course I am interested if you finally decide to go on with the project.
