I wanted to know if there was a small gap showing between the curved end and the case when the watch is on the wrist.
edit: It turns out I had it installed in the wrong springbar holes anyway. Seems as though there are two sets of holes (one for the bracelet and one set for the strap)

My hypothesis: the new strap is fitted for the POs, which could have different attachement points on the lugs than the SMPs...

I think Q is right. When worn on a PO you don´t see that gap.

Here's a lousy flash-heavy picture. It's not great, but will give you an idea. I don't have any gap at all, which is one thing preventing me from replacing my tired and worn-out rubber strap with an aftermarket leather one. I don't want a gap, but also don't want to spring for the $195 rubber strap or an $850 Ti bracelet. Hope it helps.
