Hi all,

I'm in Hotel Kempinski Atlantic in Hamburg where the 1st Hamburger Uhrensalon is being held. The Hamburger Uhrensalon started of as a project of Marcel Mathijssen and myself in cooperation with Hentschel Hamburg last year. It was only short before the opening that we decided to hand over the organization to Mr. Hentschel who renamed the fair from Watch2009 (http://www.watch2009.nl/) Hamburg to Hamburger Uhrensalon.

Exhibitors are: A.Mantei, RHL, Beluwo, Jacques Etoile, Kazimin, Kadloo, Genesis, Hemess, Hentschel Hamburg, Costro, Dornblueth & Sohn, Rainer Nienaber. Below is a first impression (slideshow).

Please note the Kazimon prototype produced by Kazim Kenzo with whom I "signed" a one year sponsor contract yesterday. This means we will be the 1st to hear about new Kazimon projects. The big news about the prototype is that it no longer has a Fricker case. Mr. Kenzo will provide all the details of this watch very soon. Stay tuned.

More watch news will follow at Watch2009 Maastricht (http://www.watch2009.nl/) where we will present our visitors over 28 watch brands from independent watch companies. Watchuseek members will get one free entrance ticket.
