hey folks, i am wondering what omega has planned for the seamaster gmt line. since they have discontinued their current offerings, has anyone caught wind of anything new and interesting in the works as i am looking for a gmt/diver?

I think they consider that particular need covered. The 2535.80 does the trick, though it is of the Bond family and doesn't do a 3rd timezone on the bezel.

I'm pretty sure you can still find a 2234 if you hunt around and inquire at various ADs... perhaps the FAD can help your source one? He was even able to find a few mint 2254 recently. The 2234 is an incredible watch, and makes no diver concessions in being a true GMT.

I'm sure sooner or later there will be others, but right now, yup. They don't seem to be in any rush to replace their 300m GMT line though. It's an incredible shame, because it was an actual true (hour hand jumps hours) GMT that is different from the Rolex GMTII.

Wouldn't it be amazing if there was a 42mm PO GMT? I'm willing to bet it would sell like crazy. You can also find GMT on the Broad Arrow models, but unfortunately they've got the infamous 3313 movement.
