Hello, what kind of watch is this: The Brand is RILA and it's Swiss made, I think it is from the 40s. I am not certain on this, Somebody help me please!!

I'd guess early 50s since it has shock protection. Don't know the brand though.

Hi,

Rila was a brand name owned by a Swiss company called "Fabrique d'Horologie Willy Choffat and co" They also made watches under the name "Alvica"

Thats about as much as I could find out.

Movement looks like an AS 1690 or AS 1790 depending on speed (or something from those families).
