Can anyone recommend a source (besides Ebay) for a decent case for a Hamilton 992B? All the vintage watch sites I've checked sell only complete watches.

Be aware that the 992B was only sold cased by Hamilton in cases made by American watch case makers to Hamilton style spec.. Go over to the NAWCC.org web page, click on the message board and do a search for 992B cases. If you can obtain such a case your watch will be more authentic than stuffing your movement into any old 16 size watch case.
