View Full Version : 70's IWC - Can anyone provide any info on this please?

I don't know much about these early IWC watches (I am more an Omega (vintage) forum person) but this one looked so 70's I was taken in a bit.

Can anyone help with some information on this watch - the movement is manual wind but does anyone know of the background/durability of the calibre which is a 403. That band - if it is genuine - is so Roger Moore as James Bond!

Looks similar to this IWC Cal 402 in the Ranfft archive:

It is definitely a 70s style and IWC is a great watch.
