A number of sellers are passing off Memovox with Gubelin parts as Ipsovox. :-|
The genuine Ipsovox is not signed by JLC except on the crowns. Case, dial and movement should all be signed 'Gubelin'. ;-)

Hi Jim -
Thanks for the information.
I must admit I'm not all that conversant on exact details of either Gübelin or JLC, other than to know that they are persuable collector items...
Regards,
JohnF

Hi -
It's what my two teenage girls call "The Papa Look", which means that they've just tried to pull a fast one yet again...
Took it with my cell phone's camera self portrait mode (Motorola Razr), sharpened it up in IrfanView and resized it to meet the Avatar requirements.
:-)

Nice watch, thanks for the info. I didn't know that JLC wrist alarm calibres were sold to other makers (apart from the IWC ones in the nineties).

Hartmut RichterGubelin is a jeweler and rebadged a number of makers products. Their association with JLC went back to the 1930s when they rebadged the earliest Reversos.
