I just picked up the NOS CWSLE today. Surpising to me it is numbered 0003 / 1,000. Would like comments from forum members on this discontinued model.

I removed the controle sticker and guess what I found. A decidely un-fake Breitling that is on my wrist right now. I love it.

My other watch is an IWC Portuguese Automatic. I have a tough decison each day on what to wear.

Hi Bill,...My other watch is an IWC Portuguese Automatic. I have a tough decison each day on what to wear.Ah, the Portuguese Automatic.. I really like that one but it's quite different from the CWSLE.

Both great watches but I see the Portuguese more as a dress-watch or at least something less sporty than the Breitling. What do you think of this?

One of our members from England (MartynJC) had one, sold it, became depressed, found another, bought it, became happy once again! :-D It is truly a stunning piece. Your IWC Port is a beauty too, but I'll wager the CWSLE attracts more comments. Finding an NOS version makes the watch even sweeter. BTW, I put a two tone UTC and bracelet on my CW last week and the 350D two tone bracelet is redundant now. If you want to replace the 350A you have on the CWSLE with a two tone version let me know. Martyn is interested in it for his but I havn't heard back from him yet. :-)

Your point is precisely why I jumped at the CWSLE when I saw it available at my AD. The Port is my dress watch. Mine is the rose gold version, so it is quite classy. And, it can stay off my wrist for 7 days without winding or feeling neglected. The CWSLE is my beautiful, casual daily watch. Thanks for your compliments.

Love the UTC look. The salesman at my AD has the CWSLE with the UTC bracelet. Quite stunning. The pictures i attached don't show it, but my bracelet is the two tone version. I really lucked out. Most of the bells and whistles and a low # to boot.

There aren't too many of us.
I have a black dialed w/ 2 tone bracelet.
It is in for a warranty service, the date didn't always roll over.
