While waiting for our forums return and to celebrate that all is not lost...

You are all invited to "watch" me buy a brand new Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute (2-tone with anthracite dial).

I will purchase the Cosmonaute at a Houston, Texas AD located on a street named after an oak tree and North of the Galleria (just ask anybody):-D on 11 February 2006 at about 1100 hrs CST.
Trying to be real careful here as I mentioned this AD and a sales person's name in a "private" email to a member on another forum, just trying to help, and was slightly reprimanded for it.

I digress...;-)

For those of you that do show up for this great event - YOU CAN BUY A WATCH TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-! , but you will need to bring your own money.

Getting Anxious here in Katy, Texas.

I am ready (been up since 0330 hrs), but the AD is not open yet and the Wife, who is buying this Cosmonaute for me is not ready (I am pushin' her - she wants to buy me a ring too) This will be a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GooGoo - I will have some cigars, but no jello:-D . Got a few Cohibas left, best I can do!

Ron - I am scared to say who I will see, but it is not Rich Z. I wish you could wear all of your Breitlings, but you would need longer arms!

Altan - Your BforB is very nice, I will be wearing my 6.75 & will have my LE Olympus close by.

well where is everyone? I would have expected this purchase to be podcasted or live fed for out-of-towners to see. i've been standing here for 40 minutes and haven't seen anyone yet...i'm leaving. i would have expected being in the great southern state of texas that there would have been a tailgate in the parking lot. i searched around, and no tailgating going on. such disappointment.

and another thing, here is someone else getting a new watch from his wife. man, i need to find another wife. j/k ;-)
