Match Racing Valencia anyone?

I just scooped one up on ebay for $1500 should be on my wrist next week.. Anyone own this watch?
I am all over Anonimo these days..more so than Panerai.

I hope you got it because you got a gift at that price. Alot of people didn't like the original model as they felt it was too busy but the second generation looked morwe the business imho. It has to be the rarest model to see on anyone's wrist in my estimation...so you're unlikely to see one anytime soon on a fellow commuter! :-)

The watch was designed for yachtsmen and all the extra colourful markings do have a use on the dial. If you ever do a little reserahc online you shall find that almost all watches designed for use in regattas are colurful and busy...so Anonimo SpA just added a few bells and whistles to the design. I personally love sailing, although only as a humble crew member but that watch has always fascinated me and I think it's one of those sleeper watches that will be much sought after in years to come.

I agree wirth Stala on this one.

I was a little reserved about the Match Racing model when I first saw it but I reckon that it will be one of those watches that will be very hard to find in yeras to come (Hence making it an investment!)
