Im a student and therefore on a limited budget. I found this Breitling Navitimer military 3100 chronograph on ebay( Item number: 280042980493), and im wondering if anybody could be of any assistance in helping me find out if this is worth bying? (is it a fake?, and what should I pay for this watch)
If you do not think that I should by this watch, what would be an affordable alternative? (I want some kind of navitimer)
Thank you very much in advance for your help

The watch would appear to be a variant of the Pluton.
I think the problem you are going to find is that the movement is now obsolete, and you can no longer have it repaired. I'm sure one of the others will back me up or correct me on this.

you would probably be safer looking for a COLT either quartz or auto. The movements are still serviceable and an older watch can still be brought back to like new condition. like the beat up old Colt I picked up for my kids Birthday. It came back from Breitling looking and running like new.

Thank you for your help.
But, what if I want some kind of navitimer? Which one should I go for? (affordable..) I do not mind buying an old watch(1960s..)
Thank you

I don't think that you'll find a decent Navi for under $1000
