Nokia 9500 Acuracy

Hi!

I just wanted to tell you about the acuracy of my cell-phone the nokia 9500. After two months it is still spot on to the atomic clock. I find that exceptionell for such a device. For example our new Oven gained 20s just in one day (very horrible for quartz :-) ). The phone does not sync to the provider's time.

So if you don't like watches (anyone here?) just get a decent cell phone!

What carrier is it on? If it is on a CDM network, the time is synchronized via GPS.

it's on vodafone a GSM provider. But the sync feature does not work with that provider and I switched it off (at leat the properties menu tells me, it's switched off :-) )

I just thought that's not bad for a phone, I didn't mean it it high-end quartz though.

Yes, it is good for a GSM phone.
