CAMY Apollo eleven

Hi,

This Camy has an unusual dial that is signed Apollo eleven 907, and the date window is at 6 hours. It has a blue second hand that doesn't look quite right with the dial and other hands. Could this be a gift watch? Why apollo eleven?

Why apollo eleven?Maybe it is just a model name. IIRC ill-phill has a Camy 'Sputnik', so space-themed watches seems to have been a Camy thing.

Camy were into all things aerospace in the 60s and early 70s. They had the Apollo, the Sputnik, a JumboJet and a Jetking, amonst others. I would guess yours is around the turn of the decade, which ties in with the Apollo commemoration.
