Hi Chicago,
I put some time into learning how to post pictures last Sunday and it was not too difficult. What problem are you having, maybe I can help?

Hi .-
Works fine for me!
Several things to keep in mind.
1) You can't post pictures from the quick reply.
2) There are two ways of posting pictures. The first is to have a hosting service and link to whereever you've put the pictures. This is fine when you a) have a hosting service set up and b) like to put really big pictures up in-line. But unless you keep those pictures up and the hosting service doesn't automatically kill them after a while, like many freebie services do, your link will go bad.
3) Posting here is simple. Go to advanced reply, then below your message you have a section under additional options of "Attach files". There is a button there labelled "Manage Attachments", where you can then search on your local drive and a thumbnail of the picture is then attached to your post. Like you see here. :-)
Critical for posting here is that once you've selected your picture(s) that you then tell the system to upload the pictures before you leave the seperate window that opens up. That took me a couple of tries to get it running.
Now there are limits to the uploads so that Ernie, the kind and gentle chap who makes this all possible, doesn't have to add 100 GB drives every week. I always resize my pictures (5MB originals) to a more modest 800x600 jpg with 50% compression. I can't remember what the limit is, but once I hit on this size, I've never run into a problem since.
If the above doesn't help, let me know. :-)
