Can I ask, what drew you to the Yacht-master?

It's a extremely unique piece, not often seen, even in yachting cirlcles.

It is the penultamite, in the non chrono Rolex sports range, though.

That is an excellent question. I had seen the YM is several ADs cases but never felt a thing for the watch. I was at my ADs and spotted a white dial Explorer. I go excited, put it on and nothing. It just was not smiling at me at all. So the sale manager whips out this YM and I try it on. I was instantly amazed by the look of the dial and whole watch on my wrist. But I was not in the market so I was sort of disinterested but they kept lowering the price until I realized they were offering a great deal. I put a refundable deposit on it and bought it the next morning. I love it now as much as the day I got it. With the trip lock, platium bezel and dial and solid center links it's a heavy, solid feeling watch and comfortable. =) maverick

Well, here is my modest Rolex family - Just wanted to wish good luck to the re-started forum (and I had to register again - but no big deal).
