Take a look at the bottom of this page from the Schauer website:
Schauer Museum (http://www.schauer-germany.com/schauer/engl/museumen.html)
Im not sure if the offer still stands, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

I would prefer something more dressy in gold!
Jorg did respond to my similar query sometime ago to the effect he would need to know that he had a short run of orders - I think he said this could be as low as 10. I would be quite specific that I wanted rose gold.

I agree with Andrzej,
I would love a rose gold case...I was imagining a polished rose gold case, satin finished bezel and crown, and polished bezel screws with a cream dial, black Breguet hands and chronograph counters. That would be the 'nads!!

Hi Watchfans!
I'm sure there's a market for a gold Stowa. The Antea would be the natural first choice. It'd be interesting to know, from someone who is a goldsmith, why it is so much more difficult to produce a gold watch. I would think that, aside from the price of gold, it wouldn't be too difficult to produce one using the same design and set-up that is used for steel.
What do you think?

Dear Ron and all others who are interested in a goldcase,
the "problem" is to choose the modell i will launch.
I have made a lot of goldcases in my first years - redgold, pinkgold, yellowgold.
The reason i do not offer now is that i am now specialized in stainless steel.
It is not more dificult to make a goldcase - hornest speaking !
Of course you can use the same tools.
But also of course it is quite expensive to produce because you need a lot of material for starting a goldserie - and to refresh the material you don´t need through the production process, is also expensive.
Maybe - this is a plan - i will launch something in basel that is worth to make in gold opr platinum.
Please be patience !
And i have another idea i want to launch this year.
(a idea nobody else had before !)
So please wait another few weeks that i can give more details.
At least in basel i will launch hopefully a project with is worth to make in gold and i will launch the new idea. The "Gold" idea.
Best regards
Jörg
