My Mondaine Automatic is now restored to its former glory. You may remember that this turned up in horrible condition in a job lot that I picked up. ( I have included a 'before' picture.). Well, my watchmaker has fitted a new balance spring and regulated it to within +5 secs /day and I have renovated the case. The dial I left alone with just a minimal clean - I prefer a bit of patina. The movement is a Felsa 4007N and my watchmaker confirmed the date of the watch as 1958. A keeper, I think.
