I'm asking about one of his watches myself in a thread I just posted. The movement in it is unmarked and not described in the ad for the watch on eBay. Anyone know what this movement is?

Anyone know what this movement is?I understand that Resumption Enterprises use genuine ETA movements in some of their watches. If you do make this purchase I'd be interested to have this detail confirmed. The ETA crest should be stamped beneath the balance wheel. Or perhaps Bestak can open his watch and take a look?
Regarding Bestak's other watch, I suspect a genuine Miyota may be used, but again a look inside will confirm if it is something different e.g. Nanning NN38.
Zhang, I think this sort of modification is a perfect use of a fake R:-Xx, especially if it has a decent case and movement. You may yet surpass Michele in the creation of custom watches ;-)

I thought someone may feel uncomfortable wearing a fake Rolex and me too. So that is why the modification. :-D USSR made some no-name Zeiss Contax cameras and sold them in the west. I thinks these are no-name Rolexes with a similar quality. O|

I also have this watch. I too would like to know if the movement is chinese or ETA. I always thought it was chinese because he (watchesu571/ Ray Wong/ Kronos) was originally selling them for a minimum bid of only $10! Now they sell for a BIN of $50, and I wonder if they are ETAs like in his automatic watches.
